The "From Within" Package is a chance for you to work with me by making a short, spoken word film that offers something unique on your showreel/portfolio. It is the perfect selection for actors who desire to explore writing their own material and
Ideal for actors who desire to explore writing their own material and wanting to update their showreels with something that excels in showcasing their range of talents, whilst showing off their personality cinematically.
What does this package include?
This package will include the following:

Pre-production discussion and script/writing workshops.

Filming of a short film (3-4 minutes in length).

Editing of the footage.

Grading of the footage.

Distribution of the film to clients within 3 weeks (if a quicker turn around of 1-2 weeks is required, this will be offered at an additional cost of £50).
What is "From Within"?
From Within is a project I came up with when I was working with many actors and hearing their stories. It is a series of short films set out to showcase the actor and their talents in acting, but also writing too. It is a project that gets to the heart of the actor and allows me to support them in making something cinematic from it. An exciting form to reveal something about you as a creative.
From Within is about allowing actors a chance to talk about a topic of their choice that may be important to them, or that they want to raise awareness too. This is why it is constructed to be a spoken word piece. Something that is raw and fundamentally YOU.
How does the process work?
As this is looking at making essentially a short film, this will take longer than one of my showreel scenes. This is due to the essential adherence to the filmmaking structure of pre-production, production and then post-production.
Pre-production will consist of a week of discussion with yourself about what you would like to to talk about. This will then allow you to go away and begin drafts of your writing. This will then be monitored by myself and then will begin collaboration on the writing, as well as giving you an ideas in terms of visual for filming.
Then, we will agree on a date to film for a maximum of a day's filming (depending on the location(s) agreed to film at.)
Top tip: consider choosing locations that are near to each other, or ideally choose one location that would be strong for your story/topic.
Finally, once we have concluded filming I shall edit the footage within three weeks and get it across to you once finalised!
Why "Starting from £300"?
I know that some people would love the opportunity to get creative around something they are passionate about, which is why I would love to offer you this. I am keen to make this something truly special for you, but unfortunately to make this happen this may require more of a budget.
During our pre-production stages I will discuss with you how you intend your story to be shown. Whether you want to incorporate aspects of a period drama, any costuming or choose a specific location that you have in mind but may need to pay a fee to film at - these are the types of things that could require more of a budget. This will be the stage I will be able to give you a true quote, and we can go from there!
