The Sharer Showreel Package is a chance for you and two fellow actors to each add something different into your showreel. It is the perfect selection for you to show your talents in two different up to 60 seconds scenes.

Ideal for actors wanting to update their showreels with two scenes that excels in showcasing their range of talents. Even better, think about sharing the cost between you!

What does this package include?

This package will include the following:

Filming of three scenes (a total of 2 scenes each of every actor):

SCENE ONE: Actor A and B

SCENE TWO: Actor B and C

SCENE THREE: Actor A and C

Editing of the scenes.
Grading of the footage.
Distribution of the scenes to clients within 3 weeks (if a quicker turn around is required, this will be offered at an additional cost of £50).

Will the scenes be written, or am I able to chose my own scene?

For the past 4 years I have gained much experience in screenwriting and storytelling. It would be my pleasure to supply my clients with the writings of their scenes, or I would be more than happy for you to write your own. You are also more than welcome to select your own scene from other scripts too.

Scenes should be written/selected to suit you effectively and show a versatility in your acting ability.

Why is versatility important?

From my own observation as a Director there is nothing more eye-catching than an actor that is versatile in their role. This is because this shows us a range of how you can act depending on the tone of the scene. Versatility doesn't just mean the way in which you act, but can also include your movement and body language. There are two major elements of acting us directors are constantly looking for: the emotional and the physical.

Why only "up to 60 second scenes"?

Believe it or not 60 seconds is a long time for a scene, especially when your showreel is about showcasing all of your talents. Those 60 seconds are crucial in showing your capabilities in a medium that doesn't take up too much of your viewer's time. It is about making an impression instantly, and I can ensure that for you.

What about a location?

A good location is crucial for your scene. Not only will it allow the scene to come to life, but also important for the filming process. Ideally I would like for clients to have an idea for location themselves, but if this is something you are struggling with I would be more than happy to discuss with you about.

Top tips to consider when choose a location:

Consider the sound. Listen to what sounds you can hear and whether you think this would disrupt the recording of sound.
Consider the space. Due to the nature of my equipment, a good amount of space will be needed - but also some space will be in your benefit to develop movement throughout your scene.
Consider the lighting. It is truly important that there are good sources of light in the location decided to film at. Good lighting will be utterly beneficial to setting the tone to the scene, and also to make it great quality footage.
